      Welcome to Pawleys Island, SC. We are located 25 miles south of Myrtle Beach and 70 miles north of Charleston on the coast. Pawleys is known for its shoeless, carefree, laid-back life style, which includes crabbing in the adjacent creeks, fishing, the stories of ghosts, the rope hammocks and the unspoiled, unsophisticated, casual, delightful stretch of wide beach and sand dunes. Pawleys Island is a wonderful place to live year-round with good schools, active community organizations and fabulous restaurants. Or just come and visit for a while.

      Pawleys Island Bakery gives back to the community by hosting bake sales and donating baked goods to charities and food banks. As well we work with local schools providing employment and training for young people.
